How to Play Tango

Tango is a compact logic puzzle where every empty square becomes either a sun or a moon. The goal is to complete the board while obeying balance, adjacency, and clue rules.

Start With The Symbols

Every cell can hold one sun or one moon. Tap or click an empty square to cycle through the options, then keep only placements that still obey the rules.

Use The Three Core Rules

A row or column cannot contain three matching symbols in a row. Completed rows and columns must contain the same number of suns and moons. Adjacent cells marked with = must match, while cells marked with x must differ.

Solve Without Guessing

A good Tango board should move forward through deduction. Look for pairs, forced balance, and clue chains before trying a new symbol.
